Teacher Bio Curriculum Homework

Mr. Daniel Leland

7th Grade U.S. History/Social Studies teacher

I attended Gustavus Adolphus college in St. Peter MN for History and Psychology

My teaching degree is from Augsburg College, Minneapolis

Students in 7th Grade Social Studies will study and use the academic skills of Economics, Geography, Civics (U.S. Government), and U.S. History from
1803 - Present.  When going through U.S. History this year we will begin in current events and go backwards with each unit.  This will allow students to build their knowledge and skills with the most immediate events in U.S. history and connect past events to their prior knowledge.
