Riding the school bus is a privilege, not a right.  The School’s general student behavior rules are in effect for students on school buses and are listed under Student Responsibilities in the student Handbook.

Students are expected to arrive at the bus stop approximately five minutes before their scheduled pick up time, dressed appropriately due to the weather.  The school bus driver will not wait for late students.  While waiting at the bus stop, students should respect other students and their property.

Directions and instructions of the bus driver must be followed at all times.  Students need to remain in their seats and speak quietly to enable the bus driver to maintain a safe riding environment for all students and to allow him to safely drive the bus.  The bus driver reports unacceptable behavior to the School and the Discipline Procedures include detention and suspension.
